Prep of the Week: Herriman’s Carter Johnson
(KUTV) - It’s a changing of the guard of a sort on the local sports scene every year. When the state basketball championships wrap up, the Spring sports season starts out at a slow crawl, and then begins to take shape. Over at Herriman high school, the Mustang boys soccer team is looking to get to new heights in 2018 after falling runner up to Layton at last season’s state championships. One of their Seniors, Carter Johnson, is a Midfielder and Captain that needs no introduction walking the hallways off their school. Carter is a phenomenal student, tremendous talent, and wonderful teammate to everyone around him. He’s also signed on to play collegiately at UVU after he graduates and serves an LDS mission. Carter hits the field with a big smile on his face every single day, while lurking beneath is a huge drive to go out with a bang. Folks, meet a great local kid doing big things with the time that he has left!
