Sneak Peak for autistic kids: 'Disney on Ice' in Salt Lake City
(KUTV) - Disney on Ice is once again coming to Utah and Thursday a local school of autistic children got the chance to visit Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Kids met Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as cast members of Disney on Ice.
It was a chance for these autistic children to let loose. Many children with autism are misunderstood and labeled as 'problem children.'
Meetings with Mickey and Minnie help alleviate some of their anxieties.
Kids also played a game recognizing the spectrum of human emotions, like Disney and Pixar examined in the animated hit "Inside Out."
