(KUTV) -- A woman died in a fatal car crash in Logan Saturday afternoon.
Between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., a blue truck was heading eastbound on 700 South and stopped at a stop sign on 100 East. A white SUV was heading southbound on 100 East when the truck pulled out from the stop sign and hit the SUV on the rear right corner, spinning the SUV.
The SUV's tires then popped, causing it to roll and eject the elderly woman from the rear passenger seat.
Officials are currently investigating the accident.
Chief Gary Jensen with the Logan City Police Department told 2News there are no names or faults given at the time. Jensen also told 2News that the victim was female and elderly.
