1 teen killed, 1 teen, 1 child injured in vehicle crash in Riverton
(UPDATE Oct. 2 2:44 p.m.) — 14-year old Kaiden Cherrington died from her injuries at Primary Children's Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, the Unified Police Department said in a tweet.
(KUTV) — A 15-year-old girl was flown to the hospital in critical condition after a vehicle crash in Riverton, according to the Unified Police Department.
A 3 or 4-year-old is in serious condition and a 16-year-old girl is in fair condition.
The three victims are receiving care at Primary Children's Hospital.
The crash occurred at 12600 South 2700 West.
The driver of the Volkswagen was making a left hand turn when it was struck on the side by the driver a Subaru.
A mother and daughter were riding in the Subaru and are in a stable condition.
Unified Police would not comment on who is at fault for the crash.
Police are investigating the crash.
