(KUTV) UPDATE: Sandy police confirm missing teen, Andrew Cook, has been located. Police say he's safe and in good health.

Andrew was last seen at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10.

Surveillance footage from the guard station at Pepperwood shows Andrew waking west out of the area. He does not appear to have any belongings and was not wearing proper clothing for the cold weather. Cook was not seen returning to the area in surveillance footage.

Andrew is not known to have any social media presence and does not have a cell phone to track.

Officers searched the area, checked all open business and Bluffdale Summit Academy, Andrew’s school. A reverse 911 call was made to all homes in a 10-mile area. A neighborhood group searched around the home including the nearby gully.

This is not the first time that Andrew has disappeared, but he typically returns home or is found hiding in or near his home.

Andrew is described as a 15-year-old Caucasian male, approximately 5’2” tall weighing around 95 lbs. Andrew was last seen wearing a red long sleeve shirt under a grey hoodie with "Washington DC" written on the front, jeans and "flip flop" style sandals.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Sandy Police Department (801) 568-7200.
