(KUTV) — Brevan Baugh was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and police believe there may be other victims.

He was booked into Cache County Jail on July 5, and has since posted bail.

The Cache County Sheriff's Office stated in a press release that this is an ongoing investigation and that there is a possibility of other victims.

The victim is now 13, but was 8 or 9 when the abuse started, police say.

Currently, investigators don't have reason to believe the abuse had any connection to Baugh's practice as a doctor, said Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen.

However, Jensen said the possibility can't be ruled out.

"That's concerning for use because we don't know if there are other victims and we don't know what his practice entails," Jensen said.

Jensen said anyone with concerns or questions about Baugh's practice should contact the sheriff's office because "there's a lot of investigation left to do."

The Sheriff's Office is asking the public to contact Detective Bird at 435-755-1180 if they have any information about previous dealings with Baugh.

Baugh posted bail and was released from the Cache County Jail.
