One pedestrian killed, another airlifted to hospital after being hit by car in Kaysville

(KUTV) — Two pedestrians were stuck by cars while attempting to cross Main Street in Kaysville early Thursday morning, Kaysville police said in a press release.

One, identified by police as Lori Morgan, from Kaysville, died at the scene. The other, Andrea Snarr, also of Kaysville, was airlifted to a hospital from the scene. Snarr was reported to be in stable condition on Thursday afternoon.

Morgan and Snarr had been attempting to cross Main Street on foot at its intersection with Nicholls Road. They were struck by two vehicles traveling on Main Street.

It was not clear made clear by police whether Morgan and Snarr were using a cross walk at the time they were hit.

The drivers of the vehicles involved were cooperating with Kaysville PD, a press release stated. The investigation is ongoing.
