(KUTV) – Moab officials opened two evacuation centers as fire crews wrangle the fast-moving Pack Creek Fire Tuesday evening.

The centers are at the Gravel Pit Lanes Bowling Alley at 1078 Mill Creek Drive and the Grand Center at 182 North 500 West.

The Gonzo Inn in Moab also opened rooms for residents who were forced from their homes.

The latest information from emergency crews indicates the fire is approximately 75-percent contained and about a dozen structures were affected.

Police indicated some structures were lost, but did not have immediate details on how many of those were homes.
