Hiker with 'ninja penguin' tattoo reported missing at Canyonlands National Park

    Authorities are searching for a hiker who went missing near Canyonlands National Park.

    Jonathon Hogue is a well-known backpacker who often takes long distance hikes, including off-trail and scrambling, according to a Facebook post.

    The 33-year-old is described as a five foot 10 inches tall white man who weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

    Hogue has a tattoo of the words "Ninja Penguin" on his bicep.
