Structure fire sparks in Salt Lake City
(KUTV) -- A first alarm structure fire has sparked in the Salt Lake City at a recycling plant, according to Capt. Marlow with Salt Lake City Fire.
The structure is threatened and crews are in place working to extinguish it. The original call expended to a second alarm to bring in more main power.
SLCFD said the blaze is well contained but not yet controlled. It requested drivers stay off 900 South between 2800 West and 3000 West.
The fire is in the area of 3000 West and 900 South.
The fire started at a recycling plant, according to Salt Lake City Fire Department.
