Driver killed, 5 injured when cars collide head-on in Tooele
(KUTV) – A driver was killed and five others were taken to the hospital when two cars collided head on Thursday afternoon on SR-36 in Tooele County.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a red Jeep Liberty was exiting I-80 westbound to go on southbound SR-36 into Lakepoint around 4:30 p.m. The Jeep was changing lanes when it struck another car and ended up swerving into an oncoming lane where it collided head on with a black Honda Civic.
