Arrest made after 90-year-old Panguitch woman found dead in coal bin
(KUTV) — The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 90-year-old woman who was found the night of January 10th buried under a large amount of coal in the coal bin of her home in Panguitch, Utah.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff a family member of the deceased took a letter that she had received from her uncle to the Law Enforcement in St. George, who contacted the Garfield County Sheriff.
The letter stated that her grandmother died on December 25, 2017 and that he had taken care of the body.
The Garfield County Sheriff has made an arrest of an individual by the name of Pete Marker on this case.
Marker is charged with failure to report the finding of a dead human body, a class B misdemeanor.
Right now Investigators are looking deeper into this case.
