(WENN) - Kit Harington and Rose Leslie's wedding will be conducted by a Benedictine monk in a castle which could double as a location for "Game of Thrones."

According to editors at British newspaper The Sun, the actors who starred as Jon Snow and Ygritte in the hit HBO show, will be married in a 17th century castle in Aberdeenshire on June 23 by Father Chad Boulton, a black-cloaked Benedictine monk, from Ampleforth Abbey.

A Benedictine monk is a man of the Catholic religion who follows the rule of Saint Benedict of Nursia, a Christian saint and a patron saint of Europe. And the monks live a monastic life with the purpose of "glorifying God in all things".

"They’re getting married by a monk in a castle. It doesn’t get more Game of Thrones than that," a source told the publication.

"They were delighted to meet Father Chad, who’s really looking forward to the big day."

Father Chad will marry the couple in Lickleyhead Castle where Rose’s family, headed by her father Sebastian, the chieftain of Clan Leslie, live.

The couple has visited the Catholic monastery in North Yorkshire to make arrangements, and friends of the GOT stars told the publication that getting wed in the castle is a deliberate nod to how the pair met. Kit and Rose played onscreen lovers Jon and Ygritte on the fantasy show in 2012.

Kit and The Good Fight actress, both 31, will marry in the north east of Scotland later this month, in a ceremony in front of 200 guests who will be entertained by British troubadours Mumford & Sons.

Pompeii star Kit has reportedly asked GOT producers, who have just begun filming the final season in Spain, to shut down production for a day so the cast can all attend the wedding.
