Tech Report: Holiday Gift Guide

Holiday Gift Guide.

(KUTV) Jeff Lind of Codeword Academy joined us in studio to show us some splendid holiday gift ideas.

Kogalla's Ra Adventure Light is not a headlamp. You can mount it anywhere on yourself or anywhere else.

The embedded magnets allow you to mount it on any metallic object.

The MagBak matches up with those magnets so you can mount it on your clothing or running belt. You can strap it onto the shoulder straps of your backpack/hydration pack or your running belt.

The D-ring strap provides rings for other mounting options.

It lights up the entire area in front of you, not just a spot like a flashlight or headlamp. Specially designed lenses evenly spread the light 120 degrees.

It is extremely bright! 800 lumens of warm light, so there is no ghoulish, blue spot light.

There is a velcro roll for rigging it anywhere you need it (e.g., strapping it to your shoulder straps on a backpack).

Red and green lenses are available for night vision.

There are three adjustable light positions (typical is low, bright, and flash). The flash mode is also adjustable in frequency, as well as SOS mode.

Runners love this product because the evenly spread light doesn't visibly bounce like the spot of a headlamp -- so no more motion nausea.

Jeff Lind also showed us Wilcox Boots.
