NIGHT LIFE - Stargazing at 10,000 Feet - Cedar Breaks National Monument has recently been designated an International Dark Sky Park, preserving night skies for generations to come. Join park rangers for a night sky program and star party every Saturday night (Memorial Day-Labor Day, Sept & Oct staff permitting) at Point Supreme. Beginning shortly before sunset, rangers lead a presentation on a night-sky related topic. As the skies darken, you’ll have a chance to get an up-close look at celestial wonders (such as the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, and nebulae) through several large telescopes. Rangers also lead constellations tours and immerse you in star stories and mythology. Spend: FREE - Website | Directions
